HORUS 8S

An active subwoofer with a passive down-firing radiator, the Horus 8S is the perfect addition to your hi-fi or home cinema setup to provide deep, punchy bass in a very compact design.

The Horus 8S subwoofer is an ideal addition to the Horus 6B compact and Horus 11 floorstanding speakers, and is an effective companion to any stereo hi-fi or home cinema system.

It is an active subwoofer with a passive "Down Firing" radiator equipped with a 20 cm active speaker and a 20 cm passive speaker, coupled to a 150 W RMS Class D amplifier. This process provides deep, punchy bass in a very compact format.

Thanks to the use of a reinforced and nervured cellulose pulp membrane, the active & passive bass drivers demonstrate excellent power handling and excellent acoustic behaviour. This results in a generous and responsive bass.
